Shooting STARS
Recreational Program
Ages 6 - 14 yrs

The Recreational Program gives the participants the opportunity to try their hand at cheerleading, experiencing the athleticism, team camaraderie, FUN, and excitement of this fast growing sport!    The participants will learn awesome cheers, gymnastics, stunts, jumps and professionally choreographed dance combinations.     All of this in an encouraging, fun, and positive environment.

This Program is a great opportunity to gain self-confidence, meet new friends, and have fun while getting exercise!

Due to Cheerleading being a TEAM sport and the inherent risk of stunts, it is very important that the participants try to attend each class.

The Calgary STARS Recreational Program operates on a sessional basis.    Some age groups may not be offered every session.    See the schedule for more information.

Adult Cheer
Ages 15 & Up

This Adult Recreational Program is a great opportunity to get fit, have a few laughs, and learn the basics of cheerleading.   Try stunting, jumping, and some new dance moves.

The Calgary STARS Adult Cheer Program operates on a sessional basis.    This class may not be offered every session.    See the schedule for more information.

Calgary STARS
Competitive Program
Ages 8 & Up

The Competitive Program is a dynamic team comprised of girls from ages 8 to 17.     This program is a fantastic opportunity for those who love to perform, strut their stuff, and hear the roar of the crowd with the support of a team!

The Calgary STARS compete and perform throughout Alberta and neighbouring provinces.    Are you a STAR?     Join our Team!

The Calgary STARS Competitive Cheerleading Team requires an 11 month commitment and some traveling is required.    Mandatory attendance is required for all practices due to the intensity of the class content, competition level, and safety.
