Helping Hands Campaign

 Ability may be what takes you to the top, but it is character that keeps you there.  

The time has come... the Calgary STARS Gym will be holding our 5th ANNUAL FIG THE PIG SMALL CHANGE FOR BIG CHANGES CAMPAIGN! This charity campaign is always a big hit with our families as well as all of our coaching staff!   All of the money raised will go directly to an amazing Calgary charity that is very near and dear to us, Jamie's Preschool.  

Jamie's Preschool is a registered charity in Calgary, dedicated to creating a safe haven for children and their families who are dealing with the effects of pediatric cancer and fragile immune systems.   The children of Jamie's Preschool come to the Calgary STARS for a scheduled class once a week.   Special precautions need to be taken for their class; our staff members need to be 100% healthy in order to even be in the building at the same time as these children because some of them are still in treatment and have weakened immune systems.   These exceptional children brighten our day with their smiles each week, we hold them very near to our hearts and hope that all of the STARS families will help us raise funds to keep this very special program going.

Our staff will each be decorating a small version of our campaign mascot "Fig" in their own special way.    These pigs will be up for auction from January 23rd, 2012 until February 25th, 2012.

About Mabel's Labels

We are Moms who were frustrated by the amount of stuff that left our houses, never to return.    After lots of research and testing, we created the perfect, durable labels for the stuff kids lose!
